Cherry Shaker Chairs and
Stools
Along with our popular maple chairs, we
will also build these classic pieces in other woods. Cherry is quite
often used for its exceptional grain and variations of color. We like
to finish our cherry chairs by applying several coats of Danish oil,
allow to dry thoroughly, then apply several coats of durable poly
acrylic topcoat (The natural characteristic of cherry is that it will
continually darken with time, even with a sealing topcoat).

Our cherry chairs are available in
the four back
styles we produce, and like all our
chairs, may be built-to-order with maple slats and rungs, altered in
dimensions (depth,width, and to some degree, height), or varied in
other ways to suit your needs.
