Shaker Solid Top Tables

Shaker style solid top tables in cherry or maple, in standard width of 36" and lengths from 42" to 96". Custom sizes are available as well, please click on this line to inquire for pricing. All tables are individually made to assure proper blending of color and grain. Table tops are 13/16" thick but thicker tops may be made for a "heavier" look. All our "standard" tables are built from Maple or Cherry. We will also build tables in other woods when specified (Red Oak, Walnut, Mahogany, Birch, Curly and Birdseye Maple).

Tables are shipped with the legs removed. They are secured at the corners with two 5/16" lag screws per leg. The apron corners are constructed utilizing the traditional mitred corner block method. This contruction has proven time and again to be stronger than the mortise/tenon joint. However, we will utilize the traditional mortise/tenon method of construction if requested.

We offer three styles of legs for our tables. Square tapered, round tapered, "accent" tapered (bottom picture).

Cherry Table with Accent Tapered Legs

The"Accent Tapered" legs are 3" square at the apron. The four sided taper is accentuated by a curved indentation. There is an upcharge of $75.00 for this leg style.

The cherry table below is the same dimensions as above but features eased edges and rounded corners.
