We understand how important comfortable seating is to enjoying a fine meal or working at a desk or kitchen counter. Understanding your needs helps us make the best chair for your home. Because each chair we build is "built-to-order", we can modify practically any element of a chair without altering what makes the Shaker Chair the classic American Furniture icon it is: it's simple, recognizable design.

Over the years our Shaker chair reproductions could be found in small, eclectic home furnishing stores across the country. We were always eager to make the acquaintance of the owners of these stores because they recognized in us a company truly committted to providing "handmade custom furniture" to their clientle. To this day we continue to work closely with a few remaining specialty furniture stores still providing quality products and excellenct service to their local customers. Unfortunately, these stores are mostly in the northeast United States and may be more than a few miles from Portland, Oregon or Austin, Texas, Seattle, Washington and St.Louis, Missouri. For those of you outside of New England who wish to "try out" our Shaker Chairs, we have invested in a new program just for you.

We will send you one of our chairs to try in your home for five days. The cost is $150.00 to cover the cost of packing and shipping. If you decide to order our chairs, your $150.00 deposit will be applied to your final invoice. If you find our chairs are not quite right for your home, we will refund or credit $50.00 to you when we have received the chair.
